The Roy Smeck Stage Deluxe, played by the Vaudevillian legend himself, is painstakingly homaged here with the Hawaiian Master. Whilst Smeck played the guitar on his lap, this guitar is more suited for the traditional style of playing, and has an astonishing tone, and features a sloped shoulder, a wider nut and 12 frets to the body. A true piece of quality. The custom ordered Hawaiian Master is based on a rarer model from the 30s, the Radio Grande, which had a natural top and rosewood rather than mahogany sides, and sounds like an absolute cannon.

Known as the “Wizard of the Strings”, Roy Smeck could play just about any instrument that he laid his hands on – but when it came to guitars, he loved slope shoulder instruments, with a wide nut and 12 frets to the body.
