Kawai
Kawai Upright Pianos at Forsyth Music Shop, Manchester
Kawai have been making pianos since 1927 and their pianos compete directly with those by Yamaha, generally offering a warmer-toned alternative. A growing number of high profile musicians have turned to Kawai as their instrument of choice including Neil Sedaka (who owns two KG3 grands), Matthew Bellamy from Muse, and 2010 Young Musician of the Year Lara Melda (who has an RX3 grand). Kawai offer an industry-leading 10 year warranty. In common with Yamaha, Kawai make their more affordable models in Indonesia (K15E, K2, and K3) with higher range models (including the K6) being made in Japan.
Buying a Kawai Upright at Forsyths
In 2011 Forsyths were Kawai Dealer of the Year, and we always stock an excellent selection of their pianos on our piano floor in our historic music shop in the heart of Manchester. We recommend you come in and play them, and compare them with alternatives by other makers such as Yamaha, Hoffman, Kemble and Schimmel, before you make up your mind what to buy.
Call our expert piano sales team on 0161 834 3281 ext 604 for more information. You can also find out more on the official Kawai website here,
