Eastman

Handmade in Beijing, China with a highly skilled workforce led by Western trained luthiers, Eastman have reset the bar for Chinese quality manufacture. In an age dominated by CNC computer routing, Eastman instruments are made using traditional woodworking techniques with bandsaws the only machine tool regularly used, and are finished in nitrocellulose or in traditional varnishes used on orchestral strings.
