Delivery Overview
If you order an item that is in stock before 3pm on any business day (Mon-Fri) we endeavour to have that order sent out the same business day. This means that your order should be with you in less than 24 hours for mainland UK postcodes. This excludes Weekends, Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. FORSYTH BROTHERS LIMITED reserve the right to amend delivery estimates at any point in the order process. In some cases, orders of excessive size, weight or value may take longer than the estimated time. We cannot be held responsible for delays in deliveries. We will notify you of any such delays. 

In the event of any issue with your order, such as errors in the stock levels, or clerical errors in the order process, we will notify you of a new delivery date, or provide you with the option of an alternate date. We also may deliver some goods in several consignments but will not charge additional carriage for this. FORSYTH BROTHERS LIMITED will not be liable to any party for items delivered outside the specified delivery estimates. 

Occasionally, the supply of products or services may be delayed or prevented for reasons beyond our control – for example, material shortages, import delays or higher than anticipated demand. Where this is the case, we will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed but shall be under no liability to you for such delay or failure.

 

All deliveries are dispatched using Royal Mail or Interlink Express. This is classified as an additional service agreement offered by FORSYTH BROTHERS LIMITED at the following rates outlined below. 

Delivery to an Alternative Address
Orders to an alternative delivery address can be processed if the customer has been authenticated using 3D authentication (i.e. Verified by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro). FORSYTH BROTHERS LIMITED reserves the right to deliver only to the cardholder's billing address. Orders made by American Express can only be delivered to the Customer's billing address, no exceptions will be made. 

Collect in store 

Goods ordered on line may be collected in store on presentation of proof of ID (e.g. passport or driving liscence) and proof of address (e.g. current utility bill or bank statement). This option can be selected as part of the delivery selection in the check out process.


Cost of delivery
UK Customers:
Shipping charges will be automatically calculated on your shopping basket subject to the shipping options available and alternative shipping options can be selected on your shopping basket or by contacting the store to arrange a timed delivery.

Orders up to the value of £100 will be sent via Royal Mail and their standard delivery timescales will apply.  We cannot instruct Royal Mail to leave any letters or parcels in any unsecure location or to deliver to a different address if you are not available to accept the delivery.

Orders over the value of £100 will be eligible for delivery via Interlink Direct to UK Mainland addresses.  For UK Offshore islands, delivery will be subject to Interlink's schedule.

Standard Shipping Rates:

£2.00 - Royal Mail (standard delivery schedule)

£8.00 - Mainland UK Carrier delivery up to £100 order value

£15.00 - Mailand UK Carrier delivery over order value £100

£16.99 - Delivery to UK offshore islands (Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands)  (next day to Channel Islands, two day all other)

•£9.99 - Saturday delivery surcharge (mainland UK only)

 

Non UK Customers

Due to customs, legal, regulatory and certain practical restrictions applicable to orders placed for international delivery, some of our products may not be available for delivery to certain destinations outside the UK. Forsyth reserves the right to define what can and cannot be delivered to which destination.

Shipping charges will be automatically calculated on your shopping basket subject to the shipping options available and alternative shipping options can be selected on your shopping basket or by contacting the store to arrange a timed delivery.  

Products are sold on a delivery duty unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay import duty or a formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are required to check these details before placing an order for international delivery.

Orders over the value of £100 will be eligible for delivery via Interlink Express by Road to European addresses and by Interlink Express Airfreight for all other countries.  These will be subject to standard Interlink delivery schedules.

 

Customers who have selected the incorrect shipping option or have been undercharged for extreme weight items may be contacted by FORSYTH for the additional shipping amount; at this time a full refund can be provided if the additional charges are not satisfactory. We also reserve the right to charge additional carriage costs if a consignment is returned to us due to refusal at your delivery address. 

Damaged Goods
All orders are pre-checked and are well packaged before dispatch. However, in the event of goods arriving damaged, any shipping damage must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. In this event, we will confirm the damage and if a claim is found valid, will collect the goods from you at no charge. A full replacement will be offered, or a full refund in the event that the goods are no longer in stock. We reserve the right to request additional photographic evidence in order to verify such claims. 

At the point of delivery, all goods become the responsibility of you the customer. From this point, you the Customer will be responsible for the safekeeping and correct use of all goods, Forsyths will not be responsible for any damage or fault arising from incorrect storage or use. The validity and conditions of any refund/return will be affected by any damage considered to be caused through misuse or neglect. 

We cannot be held responsible for damages caused by shipping or negligence if reported after 24 hours of the goods being delivered.
