Soprano ukuleles are (with a few wonderful exceptions) the smallest and most common size of ukulele. If you're thinking of a wooden bodied (rather than a banjolele) ukulele then you're probably imagining a soprano. They have the brightest and most buoyant sound of all the ukulele family.
