This is Kawai's flagship piano, with a wooden key action and a soundboard to acoustically amplify the sound from the speakers inside. Because of the soundboard it works exceptionally well as an instrument for schools, theatres and churches where it radiates sound into a larger space better than a traditional digital, but even placed against a wall in the home you can clearly feel the benefit of the soundboard resonating in front of you.
