Cicada For Two Pianos

Cicada was commissioned for Double Edge Piano Duo by the Mary Carey Foundation, the first performance was given by Double Edge in Los Angeles 1994. The piece should be played half-pedal throughout, and the pianos shouldbeplaced as far apart as possible.
