These pieces are original compositions by G.F. Handel and consist of Voluntaries, Fugues and tunes for Clay's Musical Clock. Charles Clay was a Yorkshire clockmaker who worked in London during the first half of the 18th centuryand made clocks equipped with sets of both bells and organ pipes which could play music of considerable intricacy.
