Pulcinella is a Ballet commissioned by Diaghilev and first performed in 1920. It was based around themes and melodies from Pergolesi, but with modern harmonies and rhythms, and marked the start of the composer’s neoclassical period. Originally scoredfor 3 solo singers and a chamber orchestra, it has been transcribed here for Voices and Piano, ideal for either rehearsal or private study.
