for unaccompanied SSATB choir (with optional soprano solo) Combining a number of early lullaby texts in one setting, Adam and the Mother is a haunting carol recalling the fall of Adam. It combines irregular melodic lines with lilting ostinato passages and will appeal to experienced choirs.
