Mozart/Biret - Cadenzas 20

This volume includes cadenzas by renowned pianist Idil Biret for Mozart’s piano concertos KV 467, KV 482, and KV 503 — all works for which Mozart left no original cadenzas. Drawing on her extensive experience performing these concertos from a young age, Biret has composed cadenzas that aim to maintain stylistic integrity with the original works. These cadenzas reflect both her lifelong familiarity with the repertoire and her early improvisational approach, developed during performances with figures such as Wilhelm Kempff and Nadia Boulanger.
