This delightfully musical selection brings a bit of the Irish to seasonal concerts for the holidays. The beautifully melodic Wexford Carol introduces the piece, embracing the listener with a peacefully serene and warm atmosphere. Following in sharp contrast is the wonderfully rollicking rendition of I Saw Three Ships, complete with the characteristic sound of the drone of bagpipes and energetic and exuberant Celtic drumming.
