Excellent quality solid spruce top ukulele with acacia back and sides and a mahogany neck. Comes with a gig bag.
The UMA name means Unidentified Mysterious Animal and it is based on a story of Portuguese heritage describing a mythical island and the ancestors that live there singing songs and lullabies that people can hear near the island but not see. Their ukuleles are incredibly well made, have a fantastic sound, and offer great value for money.
The UMA 16-SC is a modern take on the concert ukulele with a solid spruce top and laminate acacia back and sides. The satin finish adds an earthier texture to the sound with some richer, darker undertones and the 35mm nut width and neck shape by the nut is particularly comfortable, even compared to some other Uma models.
