Caprice Op 119

Written in 1990 for a student at Radley School following a commission from Donald Paine, who was its retired Director of Music. In one extended movement and cast in an extended sonata form, this Caprice contrasts the livelier and the lyrical sides of the saxophone within its two subjects.
