Minsky, Aaron – Judaic Concert Suite

A suite of three short pieces for solo cello which combine two elements from the traditional cello repertoire. One element harks back to Ernest Bloch, well known for his short works for cello and piano based on Jewish themes. This suite, with its robust sound and use of counterpoint and chords, is also in the tradition of the Bach Cello Suites.
