This anthology is the continuation of 'Easy Pieces for 4 Hands' (BEL 752-10) and 'Works for Piano for 4 Hands' (752-20), containing more difficult and ambitious compositions from the classical period to 20th century music. The anthology is suitable for those who have been studying the piano for at least 5 and up to 8 years. The pieces are supplied with fingering where necessary and appear in order of increasing difficulty. The notation as a piano duet score makes it easier for both players to understand the music and to grasp the pieces as a whole. All works in this volume are original piano compositions for 4 hands thus meeting the requirementsof the competition 'Jugend musiziert'. The edition was compiled and edited by Julia Suslin, the editor of the very popular 'Russische Klavierschule'.
