Zhang, Zhao - Story of Spring

“Story of Spring" was composed in 2009. It was adapted and developed from the song of the same name composed by Wang Yougui. The introduction of the work is mysterious, depicting the scene of melting snow and ice, spring reviving and new life coming back to earth. The first part sprawls like a song, thanksgiving, and praise to spring. The middle part of the unfolding section is enthusiastic and bold, showing a vigorous and striving spirit. The recreation part is wide and magnificent, a eulogy of youth and ideal!
