Five Pieces - Gardiner, Balfour

Henry Balfour Gardiner was a noted British composer of the late Victorian, early 20th Century era and was a member of the Frankfurt Group of composers. This album is a superb example of his musical style, and its pieces ideal in length and form for recital for festivals. The melody of the third piece will be familiar, building on the theme of nursery tune 'London Bridge is Falling Down'. Suggested grade 4-5.
