There are some composers whose music has an instant, yet lasting, appeal. Among these is Tielman Susato, who was active in various aspects of the music business in the first half of the Sixteenth Century.
Susato, whose actual birth date is unknown, was an instrumentalist, calligrapher, printer/publisher, a dealer in instruments and also a composer of the Flemish Renaissance school. It is as a composer that he is principally remembered and his dance-like and ceremonial compositions are an obvious choice of music for those making films whose action takes place within this period of history.

The medley is a continuous work but uses four of Susatos dances:
1) Ronde
2) Salterelle
3) Pavane
4) La Morisque
