Corpus Christi Carol - Proulx, Richard

Based on an ancient Hebridean refrain, this setting weaves in many mock-Medieval elements, inluding bits of canon and cantus firmus. The sound is at once modal and modern, and the piece, while easy to perform, never feels quite predictable, for all the simplicity of its elements.
