Featuring a carbon composite body, the Glasser is a true electric-acoustic with a sweet if rather dark acoustic tone and a fantastic Bartolini pickup system with volume and active treble and bass controls built into the chin rest. Ideal if you want an electric violin with a pro level plugged in sound but don't like the lack of acoustic resonance coming off the instrument while you play. With the carbon construction and geared planetary pegs this instrument is also rock solid for tuning stability in challenging gig environments.

The Glasser Carbon Composite Acoustic Electric violin combines the advanced technology of the acoustic instrument with state of the art electronics by Bartolini. This allows for the instrument to be played either acoustically or plug in to the Glasser Swordtail active chinrest system. The instrument is set up with Planetary Pegs.
The AEX version uses a paint/dye coating system to provide a distinctive, slightly pearlescent color to the body of the instrument. It comes with a carbon composite bridge & soundpost, and Aurora strings by Larsen are standard.
