Wood combination wise this instrument certainly fits the expected mould when it comes to Spruce topped, Rosewood back and sided instruments, with a sharp and clear attack thanks to the spruce top, and plenty in the way of sustain from the Rosewood back.
The torrefied Sitka top, certainly provides that clarity and precision most often associated with older acoustics where timbers have had chance to 'dry' out over time.
