Kawai have been busy looking at ways to make their popular upright models even better and they launched replacements for the K2 and K3 at the NAMM show in January. The new K200 and K300 both benefit from a more contemporary case design, and both models now have under-felted hammers as standard. The changes go further on the K300 which now uses longer keys to give a much more precise and responsive feel over the out-going K3. What is even better is that Kawai have also managed to reduce the list prices of both models!The K2 and K3 have always been popular here at Forsyths and the signs for the new range are just as promising - we have already sold a K300 and a K300 ATX, the latter benefitting from the company's excellent 'Anytime X' silent piano technology.
