Yamaha Price Drop!

Yes, that's right! Yamaha have announced a price re-positioning for their popular B1 upright piano! The entry-level Yamaha upright has always been a strong seller here at Forsyths, Manchester and is very popular with beginners and those looking to get back into playing after a long period away from the keyboard. Now, with a drop in list price of £314, it is better value than ever!  The Silent Piano version of the B1 also benefits from a similar reduction in price. The B1, along with it's Kemble brother (the UK prepared K109) and Kawai's K15E, set the bar for entry-level pianos and make great buys for those seeking a first piano for children or adults to start learning on. All of these models are made in Indonesia but the manufacturing isn't licensed out to sprawling unknown companies. The Yamaha and Kemble models are designed and made by Yamaha in their own factory, and the Kawai K15E is designed and made by Kawai in a Kawai factory. This results in standards of quality control significantly higher than other affordable far eastern pianos, along with the back-up and support that comes with buying from well known piano makers. These pianos are also much easier to sell on than the lesser known stencil-named instruments when grade 5/6 beckons and you feel the need to upgrade to something with more dynamic and tonal range. We always have the Yamaha B1, Kawai K15E, and Kemble K109 upright pianos in stock. Our Piano Department on Deansgate, Manchester is one of the only places in the UK where you can directly compare all three makers' pianos as well as re-conditioned and pre-owned pianos and we include free ground floor delivery to a wide range of locations including Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool, Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Cumbria.  We are always happy to demonstrate why they make such good affordable purchases, and the differences between them so don't hesitate to pop in and see for yourself!
