Bechstein has been one of the most popular quality German piano makers in the UK for decades and we have an excellent selection of pianos here at Forsyths in Manchester.Bechstein pianos are split into two ranges - the C.Bechstein range, which represents the pinnacle of the company's craftsmanship - and the more affordable, but still beautifully made, Bechstein 'B' range (previously called 'Bechstein Academy'.In the C.Bechstein range we currently have the 167cm model L grand piano in a mahogany polyester finish, and 3 upright models - the very popular Millenium 116, the Classic 118, and the superb Classic 124.  Each of these pianos retains the tonal characteristics traditionally associated with Bechstein pianos - the silvery and well-projected treble and a bass that gives clarity high importance - whilst also offering the huge improvements in mechanical precision that modern piano building techniques afford.In the Bechstein 'B' range we currently have the smallest upright, the 112, and the more affordable version of the 124 model - the B124 Imposant.  These models still encapsulate the core character of Bechstein pianos and offer a significant step up from more mainstream pianos, but without the extra level of refinement offered in the C.Bechstein ranges.If you've always wanted a Bechstein piano, or if your perhaps wish to move on from an older Bechstein instrument, don't hesitate to call in and try the current range for yourself at 126 Deansgate.
