New Vogel Grand Piano
When we attended the Schimmel Dealer Event at the factory in April, one of the centrepieces that really impressed us was the new Vogel V180 Tradition grand piano. Consequently we now have in our showroom a beautiful Black Polyester example of this model which completely vindicates the initial excitement we felt in Braunschweig. With the Schimmel grand piano range now starting at £25,990 for a Classic range model, there has been a real need for something offering a good proportion of that piano's performance at a more affordable price-point. This new Vogel V180T combines the scale design of the Schimmel Classic model, a Renner action built to Schimmel's specification, and a Schimmel frame, with manufacturing in both the Braunschweig factory and the Schimmel owned and controlled Vogel factory in Kalisz, Poland. As with all Vogel pianos, the final regulation, voicing and quality control is completed in Braunschweig, Germany. The V180T has a beautiful, crystalline sound in the treble combined with an impressive speaking length. At the bass end the sound is surprisingly big for a piano of its size. Throughout, the piano is capable of a very wide dynamic range and real subtlety thanks to the precise control afforded by that superb action. In short, this piano is a bright young star in the mid-range piano market and brings quality German design and sound closer to the price-point of more mass-produced instruments. To experience this wonderful new instrument for yourself please do not hesitate to call us on 0161 834 3281, extension 604 or visit us on the first floor of the Forsyth shop on Deansgate. We look forward to seeing you!
