This is the first post in a new regular series intended to focus on highlights from our carefully prepared stock of used  pianos.  This week I would like to draw your attention to a second hand Yamaha P116N in Walnut Satin (pictured) from 1992.This piano was originally purchased from us and has been cherished by its owner who part exchanged it when trading up to a new Schimmel.  Aside from a little natural fading the casework is in excellent condition and isn't so large that it would dominate a room.   The piano has been regularly tuned and maintained throughout its life and we have thoroughly serviced it in our workshop, including regulation and voicing.The P series is a step up from Yamaha's entry-level B series uprights,  and this piano was made in the Kemble factory in Milton Keynes.  It has a very precise action and a sweet sound.  This P116 retains the top-end sparkle typical of Yamaha pianos, but with considerably more refinement than a new B2 at a similar price.  The list price of a new P116 in Walnut Satin is £5,400, making this pre-owned example a great buy for anyone with a limited budget wishing to work towards the higher grades.Please don't hesitate to call in to our showroom on Deansgate to try the piano for yourself.  You will also have the opportunity to compare it to new and pre-owned uprights by Yamaha, Kawai, May Berlin, Bentley, Vogel, and Schimmel and we are always happy to discuss pianos with those who are interested.
