Highlights from this weeks new guitar arrivals
We were told at the start of the year than Stonebridge guitars would henceforth be known under their Czech name of Furch, so were a little surprised to receive two brand new Stonebridge branded guitars this week. I'd buy one quickly in case they become collectors items, but if you choose to ignore that advice (which is probably wise) they're beautiful guitars on their own merits. We have a dreadnaught sized D-40 and and auditorium sized G-40, both solid Cedar tops and laminated Mahogany back and sides and made in the Czech Rep.
Can we talk about ukuleles in a guitar blog? Of course we can! Kala brought in an Exotic Ebony series uke to show us available in soprano, concert, tenor and electro tenor and our response was along the lines of 'Aren't there already enough exotic £200+ ukes on the market?' Then they told us how much they were and we perked up quite a bit... we have lots of them in stock and if you're looking for a good christmas present uke for someone who already plays and wants a decent step up instrument these are brilliant.
Also ukulele related, there's a new Risa Les Paul uke back in stock, with steel strings and dual humbuckers for when you absolutely have to play Sweet Child Of Mine on a ukulele, and we have Fluke Firefly banjoleles back in stock.

The new Mahogany X series Martin Dreadnaught is now up on the website - I've already told you about it but it's a DX1SAE and here's the link.
Lastly for this week, we're big fans of the Godin Multiac series of guitars so nice to have the nylon strung version back in stock. It's the ACS Slim version with a gorgeous unbound Cedar top that looks like toffee. It's a nice partner to the Koa topped steel string A6 we received the other week.
