Come and join in this brilliant day in Forsyths wonderful piano department, exploring the excitements and delights of the piano duet repertoire under the helpful guidance of virtuoso duo Anne and Geoffrey. No need to bring a duet partner!

Anne and Geoffrey are one of the UK's distinguished pianos duos. They share their wealth of experience through recitals, masterclasses, courses and duet days as they explore the treasure chest of music for four hands on one piano, (and for two pianos when possible) bringing a fresh interpretation to favourite pieces, less familiar works and items in lighter mood. As well as original duets, composers’ own arrangements for four hands of their compositions for other instrumental combinations is a particular interest. Researching and discovering new (and also long-forgotten) repertoire is an important part of their concert programming.

The day runs as follows:

Arrival: 9.30am
Session 1: 10am - 1pm
Lunch: Visit a local eaterie; we provide beverages
Session 2: 2pm - 5pm, including a short recital by Anne and Geoffrey.

Places are: £50 Participant or £15 Observer, limited and on a first come, first served basis, so don't delay.

To book your place for this informal and insightful day, just print out and complete the Information & booking form, choosing two duets to bring along to play (or one extended work such as a Sonata) of your own choice and listing them on the form.

Depending how many duos there are, Anne and Geoffrey will cover as much as possible, each duo playing in both morning and afternoon sessions.
