Fun, fun, fun ! Learn to Play Day success

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came along to Forsyths to take part in Learn to Play Day 2015 and made it lots of  fun!

Our two fantastic group ukulele sessions with Simon Waters from The Edge Arts Centre in Chorlton showed that the ukulele is still way ahead in the popularity stakes, with all ages taking part! Manchester-based professional cellist Melanie Jones lead a great session using the innovative Colour Strings teaching method from Finland - and we also gave 50+ individual instrument lessons over the course of the day - from double bass to mandolin, from trumpet to tenor sax!

If you couldn't make it, or wished you had, you can call into our Deansgate store anytime and one of our expert staff will give you a mini lesson and help you find your way among the different instruments, manufacturers and models. You'll always receive a warm welcome at Forsyth, along with personal attention and advice.

NEXT year's Learn to Play Day will take place on 12 MARCH 2016!
