Why Schimmel Classic? 

The C116 is one of Schimmel's best selling pianos and is part of the Schimmel Classic range. Like all pianos bearing the Schimmel name, it is designed and made in Braunschweig, Germany. Internally the C116T combines the precision of a Renner action (designed by Schimmel) with the depth of sound, tonal flexibility and long sustain which have become characteristics of Schimmel pianos.  The C116 is ideal for players of all abilities who need a relatively compact instrument, and who are looking for a traditional cabinet design.

The French music periodical 'Le Monde de la Musique' described the 121 as "evidence for the great tradition of piano manufacture in Germany" and stated more generally that "Schimmel pianos are without doubt... more than a mere study instrument".

The 121 has a richness and quality of tone which is very rare for a piano of its price, with a roundness and depth of bass which is superior to many instruments even 10cm taller.  It is very much a piano for enjoying playing on and the precise Renner-made action enables the player to really explore the range of dynamics and colour on offer.
