SOLD: Pre-owned Opus 157 Grand Piano in Black Polyester

The brand name of Opus is unique to Forysth. These instruments were made by Korean manufacturer Young Chang who were commissioned by Forsyth to make a range of quality, affordable upright and grand pianos. 

This instrument, dated from 1994, has had light use and has been kept well maintained on a regular basis. The casework is also in good condition.

It has a very pleasing, softer tone and is suitable for beginners to advanced pianists alike. 

This piano is currently awaiting a full refurbish in our workshop, which includes:

• Full cleanout of the soundboard, keybed, action and strings
• Reshaping of hammers
• Full regulation of the action
• Tunings and voicing to even out and to sweeten the tone of the instrument
• Casework buffing to get the casework looking shiny and new again
