Caccini - Ave Maria (B flat minor)
Catalogue No: CACCINI1001
This much-loved Ave Maria, misattributed to Caccini (1551–1618), was composed by Russian guitarist and lutenist Vladimir Vavilov (1925–73) but first recorded and published by him in 1970 as an 'anonymous' work.
This arrangement for soprano and piano by Nick Ingham represents the famous version recorded by Inessa Galante.
