Bryars, Gavin - Laude Cortonese Vol. 1

"Laude" are short popular hymns of praise to the Virgin Mary, dating from the 14th century, and Gavin Bryars has kept to their original exquisite simplicity of style. "Laude Cortonese" has been recorded by the singers for whom they were written on a widely acclaimed CD 'Oi mi lasso' (BCGBCD05).
