Hiller, Wilfried - Musurgia
Catalogue No: ED9755
£21.50
Typically dispatched in 5-7 working days
In the writings of Athanasius Kircher, the organ is inextricably linked to the myth of creation. Accordingly, it is the organ that is brought to the fore by Hiller with the help of two large-scale toccatas, interrupted several times by comments of the spatially positioned trumpets and timpani. In the epilogue, they are joined by a medieval glockenspiel symbolizing the harmony of the sixth day of creation.
