Barry Guy: Celebration For Unaccompanied Violin
Catalogue No: NOV120833
£8.99
Printed on demand, typically dispatched in 3-4 weeks
'Celebration' was written for the baroque violinist Maya Homburger in 1994. Its writing coincided with the composition of 'Ceremony' for violin and tape, and some of the articulations are common to both pieces. The piece is likean extended cadenza with all the implications of rubato and individual expression open to the performer.
