The “à la carte” series from Ensemble Dreiklang of Berlin has visited the Emerald Isle! In “Irish Coffee”, they offer intermediate arrangements of well-known Irish dances and ballades, including “The Irish Washerwoman” and “Down by the Salley Gardens”. The arrangements are for descant (soprano), treble (alto) and bass recorders although arranger Sylvia Rosin recommends switching from soprano to sopranino recorder for the last piece, “The Musical Priest”.
