The present minuets have been taken from the music book compiled by Leopold Mozart in 1759 for his daughter Marianne, called 'Nannerl'. The collection served at the same time as the first playing material for Wolfgang. The young Mozart entered various compositions of his own on the blank pages of the book, three minuets of which have been published here.
