Bizet, Georges - Pearl Fishers Duet - Clarinet Duet

Bizet's opera 'The Pearl Fishers'was written during 1863 and was his first important opera. Unfortunately it received a very unfavourable reaction from the critics and Bizet himself was highly critical of it during his last years. However, t e duet has remained the best known extract and has been heard extensively on radio and television. This fantastic arrangement highlights the lovely intertwining melody that has become so popular.
