The medley continues with "Anchors Aweigh," "The Caisson Song," and "Yankee Doodle Boy," and ends with a partial statement of the majestic melody from "America, the Beautiful." The piece begins in the key of C major and modulates to B-flat major with the melodies alternating between the primo and secondo parts.
