Muczynski, Robert - Seven, Op. 30

The music of American composer Robert Muczynski is characterised by a tonal and warmly expressive form of neo-Classicism. Other distinguishing features are his clear, concise, abstract forms, simple, transparent textures, andavoidance of pretence or grandiosity of any kind. These 'Seven' are, as implied by the title, seven short and contrasting pieces for piano solo utilising modern compositional and performance techniques.
