Book of Song and Dance - Walker, Robin

An album of 11 folk-inspired miniatures of haunting simplicity, which yet demand playing of subtlety and precision. Some are based on well-known tunes, such as Shenandoah and My Love is Like a Red Red Rose, but others, equally evocative, are memorable tunes by the composer himself. Most are for recorder and piano, but some are for solo recorder and there are even two short piano solos in the album - very democratic!
