Romance and Rondo is a two movement work for solo Accordion, approximately 4 minutes in length. It was written by Graham Romani in 1961 for the Solo Accordion section of the NationalAccordion Organisation’s Composers’ Competition, which it won.
Graham Romani (1917-1993) was the most prolific British composer for Accordion working during his lifetime. He was also an archivist and writer,producing articles for the Accordion Times for several decades, and also writing a self-illustrated history of the instrument.
