Recordings by singers and groups including Doris Day, Andrea Bocelli, Elvis Presley and Barbara Streisandfollowed.

The ‘Lord's Prayer’ is a venerated Christian prayer that, according to the New Testament, was taught by Jesus to his disciples. The song's melody is very similar to that of Schubert's ‘Ave Maria’.
