Howarth, Elgar - The Amazing Mr Arban for Cornet and Piano

Jean Baptiste Arban was amongst the first of the great soloists of the then newly invented cornet, and his post as first soloist in the Paris Opera Orchestra gave great respectability to the instrument. The Amazing MrArbancelebrates his melodic gift by grouping together and integrating several of the best known studies. The piano arrangement is by Nicholas Hare.
