Notes to performer: If necessary, due to programming considerations, it is acceptable to the composer that the "Dance" movement be performed alone. This movement has also been successfully used as a dance piece. The composition can be played by either bass or tenor trombone. Although some alternate octaves are provided, others may be necessary provided that care is taken to maintain peak high points.
