Greg Scott, the tallest violinist in the world, was discovered busking as a poor music student by Music Producer Pete Waterman leading to performances around the world as a British Virtuoso Violinist. As heard on Classic FM Radio Station, Greg’s recording of ‘Ashokan Farewell’, sent his debut album ‘DUEL’ straight to No.1 in the UK Classical Album Charts.
A Concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall soon followed with The English ChamberOrchestra. He was then asked to perform 2 Concerts with The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra in Asia. “Its been a busy couple of years” says Greg, “and I still practice every day.”
Greg Scott began his career with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra after graduating from Chetham’s School of Music. He went on to gain a Bachelor of Music degree at The Royal Northern College of Music. ”You have to work really hard to be a professional musician” says Greg “but it’s worth it in the end.”
Greg has performed with kd Lang, Bryan Ferry, Aled Jones, Cliff Richard and Katherine Jenkins. He has performed for the BBC, ITV, Sky, London Tonight and Granada Tonight and has appeared in The Daily Mail Newspaper.
“RHAPSODY” by Greg Scott can be heard on Cunard, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Seabourn, Holland America Line, Crystal and Celebrity Cruise Lines. The 45 minute Show has audiences jumping to their feet on every performance and features music from Around the World.
