Catalogue No: FCW11
Sea Idylls is of one of the most famous works by brilliant children's composer Walter Carroll, the Beatrix Potter of learner piano music. It still features regularly on the exam board syllabi.
Sea Idylls is of one of the most famous works by brilliant children's composer Walter Carroll, the Beatrix Potter of learner piano music, whose use of music, poetry and art in his now classic albums have appealed to successive generations of children. As a result they are still widely used on exam syllabi and by teachers around the world nearly a century after they were written. This set of 10 sound pictures, inspired by a visit to the beautiful rock-bound shores of Galloway, encourage colouring and expression in the improving player. Suggested grade 3-4.
