£12.00
Song Without Words: 4'00
Tuesday Song: 4'00
If There Was Ever One: 4'10
Lost (& Found): 3'10
Four new lyrical pieces that encourage the performer to explore the emotional context of their playing. Slow, simple music is often the hardest to perform as it requires the performer to superimpose emotion, meaning and structure onto the music - feel free to interpret these four pieces freely, to take them in any direction that you feel. One of the pieces, Tuesday Song, has space for improvisation - although a written guide solo is included, I hope that you will explore the possibilities of your own melodic improvisation, as an extension of the written music.
