More info
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas opened at Broadways 46th Street Theatre (now the Richard Rodgers Theatre) on June 19, 1978 and ran for 1,584 performances. Based on a real brothel in La Grange, Texas, the musical is a bawdy, charismatic affair. It was nominated for six Tony Awards and won two. The Will Rogers Follies hit the Great White Way on May 1, 1991. Sub-titled "A Life In Revue," the show is about the life of early 20th century comedian Will Rogers. In 1992 it won a whopping seven Tony Awards out of eleven nominations. Great songs from each of these musicals are preseneted here with lush, note-perfect backing tracks and removable guide vocals so your voice can shine through.
